Monitoring Centre Operator

Melbourne, Australia Mission Security Services Full time

Our client requires a skilled customer service agent to become a monitoring centre operator in an A1 graded Monitoring Centre located close to CBD. The company specializes in monitoring and electronic security systems.

You can remain either part-time or full time. You will have availability to work day/night shifts on a rotating roster including weekends.

**Responsibilities will include**:

- Alarm and CCTV Monitoring via SIMS monitoring software
- Providing customer service
- Taking inbound calls relating to breaches and remote alarm monitoring
- Making outbound calls relating to alarm monitoring
- Directing calls to the appropriate managers or clients
- Assessing all alarms, incidents or emergencies
- Dispatching guards
- Contacting emergency services

**Bonus Skills**:

- Experience with alarm Monitoring Software such as SIMS would be highly regarded
- Well spoken with a confident, calm and highly professional phone manner
- A high standard of oral and written English

An ability to work under pressure and be focused on providing a high level of service to the client and maintain a positive and resilient attitude

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent, Casual
Part-time hours: 40 per week

**Salary**: $28.00 - $40.00 per hour

- Afternoon shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Public holidays
- Shift work
- Weekend availability

**Experience**:

- Call centre: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Security Licence (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)
