- ** Flexible hybrid role - Location is either Richmond office, Melbourne OR Bulimba office, Brisbane**
As the **Payroll Specialist**, you will work within a supportive team to deliver national payroll accurately and on-time every week.

Here’s a snapshot of the **Payroll Specialist** responsibilities:
- Processing end-to-end weekly payroll for Dan Murphy’s and BWS employees (circa 20,000) using SAP Employee Central Payroll
- Completing post payroll activities including STP reconciliation
- Timely resolution of complex payroll cases using Service Now
- Processing of payment adjustments, termination payments, overpayments
- Performing month end superannuation reconciliation, followed by file submission
- Maintain and manage payroll process and policy documentation as required and actively share knowledge and cross skill team members
- Identify key risk areas and develop/implement action plans to ensure ongoing compliance.
**Qualifications**

- You will bring to the role a strong knowledge and understanding of Australian Payroll
- Minimum of 5 years payroll experience.
- Systems experience - SAP ECP is desirable, Service Now and/or UKG is also ideal.
- Experience working in larger organisations, within a fast paced environment.
- Knowledge of Australian legislation and award interpretation.
- Ability to solve complex problems relating to payroll, leave and GL accounts.
- Excellent time management skills, eye for detail and accuracy.
- Ability to document and deliver process improvements.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
