We are seeking an experienced Tech Support Specialist to join our End-User Computing (EUC) team in Melbourne. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering outstanding tech support to our global employees, empowering them with the best technology and ensuring their happiness and productivity.

About the Role

The Tech Support Specialist supports the business by providing face-to-face support at our Apple Genius Bar style service, offering technical advice on systems, devices, and user access management, encouraging self-service, and contributing to broader projects as required.

Key Responsibilities

  • ">
  • Provide high-quality tech support to REA staff in a fast-paced environment;">
  • Assist with troubleshooting hardware and software issues, identifying consulting/IT project opportunities;">
  • Encourage staff to use engaging articles, digital dashboards, automated macros, and other resources to resolve technical problems;">
  • Contribute to broader projects as required, including research, development, and technical testing efforts.">

What You'll Need

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • ">
  • A minimum of [2-3] years' experience in a Tech Support Specialist role;">
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and work independently;">
  • Strong knowledge of Windows Desktop Platforms (Windows 7, 10), Apple Mac Platforms (macOS & basic UNIX fundamentals), Mobile platforms (iOS, Android), and Mobile device management platforms;">
  • Latest versions of Microsoft Office and basic understanding of network concepts (Routers, switches, LAN/WAN);">
  • Ability to demonstrate an understanding of Microsoft Active Directory, Video Conferencing and Telephony Support, Security, MalWare, SPAM, and modern technology practices;">
  • Qualifications in aligned technologies (e.g., certifications) highly desirable.">

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary package, including a base salary of approximately $70,000 - $90,000 per annum, plus superannuation, flexible parental leave, programs to support mental, emotional, financial, and physical health and wellbeing, volunteering leave, community grants, matched payroll giving, and more.
