Lifeline Australia is a national suicide prevention charity providing all Australians experiencing emotional distress with access to 24-hour crisis support and suicide prevention services. They are committed to empowering Australians to be suicide-safe through connection, compassion and hope. This is achieved through a partnership of over 10,000 committed volunteers and their member centres in communities across the nation.
**ROLE**
Are you a skilled change management professional ready to make a meaningful difference? Lifeline Australia is seeking an experienced and proactive Change Management Professional to join the Service Design and Enablement (SD&E) division.
Reporting to the SD&E Change Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in implementing change initiatives that align with Lifeline Australia’s strategic priorities. Your work will ensure projects meet their objectives by driving stakeholder adoption, managing change readiness, and delivering measurable outcomes.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Conduct stakeholder analysis, change impact assessments, and readiness evaluations to support project success.
- Deliver change management activities, ensuring organisational readiness and smooth transitions.
- Report regularly on change activities to inform decision-making by the Change Manager and relevant personnel.
- Partner with the Learning and Development team to design, develop, and implement training and support materials.
- Contribute to the assessment of change effectiveness and benefits realisation to measure and sustain project success.
- Identify and manage risks and issues, including addressing change resistance.
**ABOUT YOU**
You are a collaborative, solutions-focused change professional with strong communication skills and a structured approach to implementing change initiatives. Your expertise in stakeholder engagement and your ability to navigate complex environments will ensure successful outcomes.
**Qualifications, Experience and Attributes**
- Proven experience in change management, with a minimum of three years in a change-focused role using industry-recognised methodologies.
- Advanced stakeholder consultation, facilitation, and problem-solving skills.
- Systems implementation, technology, and business project change management experience.
- Proven ability to identify, manage, and address risks and issues, including change resistance.
- Desirable: Experience in non-profit and commercial settings.
- Desirable: Experience with digital, cloud, and/or workforce transformation projects.
