Correspondence Coordinator

The role Reporting to the Manager, Coordination and Support Team, you will take the lead in assigning, tracking, and monitoring all incoming and outgoing correspondence for the Chief First Nations Health Officer as well as the broader division. Your proactive approach will be key in ensuring the smooth flow of communication.
As a critical quality control point, you will review and edit outgoing correspondence to uphold departmental guidelines and deliver a polished final product. Additionally, you will serve as the central coordinator for information requests coming from the Chief First Nations Health Officer, the Minister for Health, and the Director-General. Your role extends to managing diverse requests for information, briefing notes, correspondence, and advice on behalf of the Office, showcasing your organisational and prioritisation skills.
Further contributing to operational efficiency, you will assess, develop, evaluate, and enhance the Office's correspondence systems, processes, procedures, and guidelines.
Moreover, your role will require a demonstrated proficiency in cultivating and sustaining effective relationships. Your background should encompass recognising opportunities for enhancements and successfully implementing changes that elevate service delivery. Your experience in effectively managing substantial volumes of both incoming and outgoing correspondence, inclusive of the editing process, will underscore your suitability for this position.
