**About the role**:
**Your key responsibilities**:
Follow defined service quality standards to ensure high quality customer service to users;
Provide high level ICT technical expertise, support and administration across End User Computing by maintaining the operational environments that supports the business;
Provide support and assistance to the team in the clarification and prioritisation of tasks by ensuring assigned priorities are met in accordance with defined service levels;
Supervise and manage ICT suppliers by adhering to policies and procedures and seeking collaborative opportunities to improve service provision;
Supervise / mentor a technical team by adhering to unit and organisational goals and procedures; and

Communicate with senior stakeholders across the Department as required and provide an escalation point to resolve and provide solutions on the more difficult customer issues.

**What will you bring**:
Proven ability in End User Computing operations, including analytical and problem-solving abilities for identifying, defining and solving technical and operational problems;
Proven ability to acquire knowledge of a modern ICT environment with solid technical experience in relation to solving problems with network aware software and hardware;
Proven ability to supervise own workflow, prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a professional and positive manner utilising a high level of initiative with mínimal supervision;
Proven ability to adhere to and participate in ITSM practices such as change management;
Proven ability in interpersonal, team building and negotiation skills in an ICT environment; and

Proven ability in providing excellent customer service, oral and written communication skills and an understanding of equity in the workplace.

Qualifications, professional registration, conditions and other requirements

A driver's licence (C class) would be highly desirable given you will be required to travel between two different sites from Jan 2024; and

Participating in on-call arrangements may be a requirement of this position.
