My government client is seeking the following resources
- **Senior Support Desk Officer**:

- **Support Desk Officer**

As the Support Desk Officers, you will be responsible for the provision of Information technology support services to the Department.

**Senior Support Desk Officer**
- **Assist** with the planning, controls and resource allocation of tasks and their priority to ensure they are delivered on time, within budget and meet client needs.
- **Ensure** that all requests from customers for assistance with technical hardware and software issues are handled promptly and effectively and that customers receive appropriate advice and guidance.
- **Provide** technical advice for desktop operating system administration including product installation, upgrades, licensing, and performance tuning and troubleshooting according to standards, policies, and procedures.
- **Maintain** a desktop environment that is secure from virus corruption and unauthorised access.

**Support Desk Officer**
- **Receive** requests from clients, diagnose and resolve where possible or assign to the appropriate area and be accountable for monitoring and follow-up action.
- **Provide **first level desktop support services via the Information Technology Service Desk, using highly developed problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and remediate complex desktop issues.
- **Undertake **escalation procedures, coordinate communication with clients, support units and staff, and monitor major service issues to resolution.

**Skills**
- Microsoft Windows, advanced support experience.
- Demonstrated experience in a dynamic and busy environment with a proven ability to meet conflicting deadlines.
- Experience operating within an ITIL aligned environment.
- Software patching and deployment experience.
- Mobile device management experience.
- IP telephony management.
