**Position Summary**:
This role will be based in Brisbane, Australia.
**Essential Responsibilities**:
- Lead, motivate, and mentor a team of Channel Account Managers (CAM's) to achieve and exceed sales targets and objectives within the assigned region.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans and initiatives to penetrate new markets, acquire new partners, and expand the company's market share.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, product development, and customer success to drive product enhancements, go-to-market strategies, and customer satisfaction.
- Identify key business opportunities and industry trends within the region and develop actionable plans to capitalise on them.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders to drive customer acquisition, retention, and loyalty.
- Provide regular sales forecasts, performance reports, and insights to senior management, highlighting key metrics, trends, and opportunities.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations, coaching sessions, and training programs to enhance the skills and capabilities of the sales team.
- Stay abreast of competitive landscape, market dynamics, and industry developments to inform strategic decision-making and sales strategies and actively attend industry and networking events to build connections and grow sales pipeline.
**Ideal Skills, Experience, and Competencies**:
- Demonstrated history of achievement in sales leadership roles preferably in the Tech industry, spanning various distribution models and commercial sales functions.
- 5 years + of senior leadership within sales organisations leading large complex teams
- Profound comprehension of commercial acumen and a documented track record of effectively leading strategic engagements with both external clients and internal stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to build and nurture high-performing sales teams.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute effective sales strategies.
- Results-oriented with a passion for driving revenue growth and achieving targets.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
