**The Opportunity**
We currently have an opportunity for a Regional Sales Manager to head up our Queensland Prescription Sales team.
As Regional Sales Manager you will lead, manage and motivate a dynamic prescription sales team to achieve strategic business goals for your designated area.
This is a key role within the business, where you will build collaborative relationships with your team and key customers across your region. This includes fostering a high performance team culture with a clear focus on achieving results and business goals and objectives, along with building effective ongoing relationships with key opinion leaders and decision makers within the region.
- Key accountabilities include:_
- Achieving and exceeding regional and state objectives
- Sales team territory planning
- Regular coaching and development of team members to actively influence overall performance
- Establishment of ongoing relationships with key opinion leaders and key decision makers
- Working collaboratively with specialty representatives, marketing and medical teams to achieve key business outcomes and speaker engagements.
**About You**
To be successful in this role you will possess previous experience in a Regional Sales Manager role within pharmaceutical or medical devices.
- Other key requirements of this role include:_
- High level people management experience and passion for developing others
- Strong networking and relationship building skills and the ability to balance multiple priorities at the one time
- Strong commercial acumen, analytical skills and proven ability in sales territory planning and monitoring
- A demonstrated understanding of marketing principles and the selling process
- Solid understanding of business management / finance principles.
- Strong and solid influencing and negotiation skills and the ability to influence
An Undergraduate Science or Life Sciences degree or similar is highly desirable for this role.
