**About the Job**
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Leading, coaching, and motivating a team of Lending Consultants, including supporting the team in their personal development goals.
- Supporting the team with escalated customer situations, including building relationships and liaising with internal loan operations teams on behalf of the customer and their brokers.
- Recognising, capturing and managing customer complaints under our RG271 obligations.
- Identifying training and development needs within the team, and developing individual or team training to develop the team in these opportunities.
- Recruiting, onboarding and training new team members.
- Leading team reward and recognition initiatives, and coordinate meaningful social connection activities.
- Performing daily, weekly, and month team performance reporting including the STI process.
- Contributing to Wisr’s process improvement initiatives along with Head of Customer Operations and related business groups (IT, Credit, Servicing)
- Maintaining an active dialogue with Head of Customer Operations on all aspects of your role
- Ad hoc tasks as required from time to time.
**About You**
You are an experienced professional with a strong background working within consumer lending. You have an expert-level understanding of the lending consultant role, with the ability to support, coach and equip team members with the tools they need to meet and exceed targets.
**You'll also have**:
- Exposure to leading and guiding a team, driving key performance and outcomes.
- User-level understanding of contact centre concepts and technologies.
- A foundational understanding of data analysis and reporting functions in Excel or Google Sheets.
- Highly-evolved written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to understand and liaise with other functions.
- Attuned emotional intelligence, with the ability to demonstrate patience, empathy, and genuine care for others.
- The ability to lead by example in customer-first behaviours and performance.
- The ability to diagnose performance issues, coach and develop the team in improving in these performance areas.
