We are currently recruiting for a Product Manager for a Client in the manufacturing wholesale and distribution space.

**About the role**

The Product Manager will manage and co-ordinate the new product development process for new product ranges from concept development to product launch.

**Responsibilities**
- Identify new product opportunities and innovations to bring to market
- Co-ordinate multiple new product development projects
- Manage a number of major projects and minor projects involving a line extension or problem solving a quality issue
- Order stock for the initial six months for new products
- Compile a sales forecast based on the previous sales history for the last three months of the new product being introduced, the number of stores that the product is being moved into and sales history of related products
- Drive and manage stakeholders on multiple projects and conflicting priorities

**Skills and experience**
- 1 - 3 years' experience in a Marketing, Product or Category Manager role within a manufacturing environment
- Experience in co-ordinating NPD from concept through to product launch
- Intermediate/Strong Excel & Power point Skills
- Strong with process/systems & sorting data
- Retail/Product Management Background (preferred)
- Good understanding of local retail (and some understanding of overseas) retail landscape
