**Technical Sales Manager - Poultry Equipment & Housing**

**Who We Are Looking For**:

- Design poultry/layers production systems for new sheds and farm refurbishments.
- Leads generation and budget achievement.
- Assist farmers in technical farm design and technical support through equipment automation according to Australian best practices.
- Monitor industry developments and performance to develop action plans ensuring the company has the best representation and offering possible within the territory.
- Develop new markets.

**What You Will Do**:

- Sales of poultry and layers equipment, including sheds/structures in ANZ region.
- Works with end users to maximize the sales of company products through providing technical resources, consulting advice and best in class production system design.
- Attend industry events and conferences as required.
- Team up with dealers, contractors and suppliers to offer the best solution to our customers.
- Extensive travel is expected.
- Support the project management team at construction sites.
- Provide sales quotations and manage our CRM system (Salesforce).

**What You Will Bring**:

- Expert knowledge of the poultry/layers market to include:
a. Ventilation system design.

b. Feeding and drinking system design experience.

c. Global best practice in intensive poultry/layers operations.

d. Overall protein production including layers cages and aviaries.
- Demonstrable basic mechanical aptitude in relation to equipment installation and performance.
- Project Management or construction experience is a distinct advantage.
- Experience with commercial eggs farms is a plus.
- Computer literacy on a PC and CRM software.
- Sales management experience.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Geographical mobility and preparedness to spend an average of three nights per week away from home.

**A Plus If You Have**:
Moderate/reasonable Problem Solving Skills - Requires good analytical skills as well as evaluative judgement based on the analysis of factual and qualitive information in complicated or novel situations. Multiple sources of information refer to a diverse range of internal and external sources such as procedures and practices in other areas, team, companies etc. The ability to filter, prioritize, analyze and validate potentially complex and dynamic material.
