- Filchem (Australia) has a 40 year history of reliable supply of technically superior chemicals and minerals to a diverse range of Australian customers, and an annual turnover of $100M.
**About the Role**:
This role is responsible for the reliable supply of the Flichem Product range to our Victorian customers, and growing the business within this Territory. You will be required to:
- Ensure that the territory reaches or exceeds budgeted sales, gross margin and volume budgets.
- Manage a portfolio of key accounts.
- Actively prospect new customers.
- Provide accurate and timely sales forecasts.
- Develop account management plans for major customers.
- Coordinate and manage supplier visits.
- Ensure effective administration of the territory through management of minimum stock levels, actively reducing slow moving ort obsolete stock, managing annual stock takes, ensuring effective processing of paperwork and streamlining operations to minimise costs.
- Ensure effective administration of the assigned customer accounts, such as timely order processing, sales forecasting, and resolving issues in a timely manner.
- Provide inputs and participate in the marketing/market development and planning of products and services to support the implementation of product group strategies and policies.
- Effectively lead and manage the Territory team.
There is a high level of autonomy within this role, but overall success will require cooperation with and contribution to the combined skills of the Filchem team. You will have Key Account Manager responsibilities, with some operational duties - run, grow and develop our Victorian Business Unit as your own
