**ABOUT THE ROLE**

As the **Practice Lead Psychosocial Risk**, you will be responsible for the global leadership of the Psychosocial Health and Wellbeing approach and design of the Psychosocial Health and wellbeing framework. The role provides guidance on the identification and assessments of psychosocial risk to South32 operations and supports the development of effective controls. The roles provide assurance that minimum requirements are met, improvements are identified, and reports back to senior management on assurance findings. In order for South32 to achieve and guarantee that everyone returns home safely, this role is a crucial requirement. It keeps an eye on the outside world for advancements in technology and/or information that could help South32 reduce psychological risks.

Other key role responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to:

- Analyse data and trends related to psychosocial risks and maintain systems for tracking and reporting.
- Provide advice and support in the implementation of the Psychosocial Health and Wellbeing Framework and related risks to operational and functional leaders

**ABOUT YOU**

You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:

- Extensive industry experience in Psychosocial risk management with an understanding of the risks associated with the mining industry
- Exposure to the mining industry deemed favourable
- Experience at Group Functional level
- Requires knowledge of key concepts, theories, and practices related to effective management of HSS-related risks

Qualifications for this position are:

- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent tertiary level qualification (Psychology / Organisational Development / Human Factors / Health and Safety / similar)
