**We are currently seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Respiratory and Sleep Medicine Consultant to join our dynamic team and contribute to the delivery of exceptional healthcare services.**

The Respiratory & Sleep Service at Flinders Medical Centre is a vital component of Adelaide's southern network of respiratory and sleep services. They provide comprehensive care for various respiratory diseases, including asthma, COPD, lung cancer, and more. Services encompass domiciliary oxygen, lung function testing, and a respiratory outreach nursing service.

**About the Role**:
As the Respiratory and Sleep Medicine Consultant, you will play a crucial role in providing clinical services of the highest possible standard to our patients within the Respiratory and Sleep Services department. Your focus will be on Pulmonary Hypertension and ILD, and your contributions will help us maintain our commitment to excellence in patient care.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Consumer Focus**: Engender a consumer focus in service delivery, ensuring that patient satisfaction and well-being are at the forefront of your practice.
- **Clinical Excellence**: Provide a high-quality clinical service and clinical leadership to the Respiratory and Sleep Services team, setting a standard of excellence for your colleagues to follow.
- **Mentorship and Training**: Provide appropriate support, direction, and training to trainee medical officers and medical students, contributing to the development of future healthcare professionals.
- **Personal and Professional Development**: Demonstrate a commitment to personal and professional development, staying updated with the latest advancements in the field and continuously improving your skills.

To be **successful** in this role, you will have:

- Proven experience in the management and treatment of Pulmonary Hypertension and ILD.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Dedication to patient care and a strong commitment to maintaining the highest clinical standards.
