- Total Indicative Remuneration: $352,632 - $597,993 p.a. (Pro Rata) MD2 | Full Time, Until February 2024

As the Consultant of Gastroenterology and Hepatology, you will have a substantial role in the provision and maintenance of all aspects of Gastrointestinal and hepatological Disease and Sciences within the surgery and Perioperative Medicine Division at Flinders Medical Centre and their regional links. You will contribute to services in the hepatological and gastroenterological management of patients with digestive problems or those requiring preventive activities, is involved in teaching programs relevant to discipline, and will support audits, clinical practice improvement programs, and programs of innovation including research. You will provide clinical services of the highest possible standard to the Gastroenterology and Hepatology Unit patients, both in terms of individual performance and by providing clinical leadership and contribution to a multidisciplinary approach to the delivery of the patient care. You will be actively involved in teaching medical students and trainee medical officers and where appropriate Nursing and Allied Health and will participate in clinical audit and quality, safety and clinical risk management activities and research and continuous medical education activities.
