- Total Indicative Remuneration: $401,454 - $584,489 p.a. (Pro Rata) MDO2| Full Time, Until January 2024

As the Consultant, Anaesthetist, you will be responsible to the Head of Anaesthesia who is accountable to the Clinical Director of Surgery and Perioperative Medicine, to provide clinical anaesthesia, quality control and daily personnel management. The anaesthetic workload includes all surgical sub-specialties, including neonatal, cardiac, thoracic and liver transplantation. There is an active quality control and a teaching and supervising component for anaesthetic trainees, nurses, and medical students.

To be successful in this role, you will need demonstrated clinical experience and competence in the practice of anaesthesia, the ability to communicate at the highest level with a wide range of people including patients, their families, colleagues and other professional staff, both verbally and in writing, the ability to participate in continuing medical education activities and the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
