- Indicative Total Remuneration: $359,094 - $701,269 p.a. (pro rata, Subject to Private Practice Arrangements) MDO2 | Part Time, 26.25 hours p/w - Ongoing

In the role of Geriatric Consultant you will contribute to the clinical activities of the Division of Rehabilitation, Aged Care and Palliative Care (RAP) to provide a specialised service for older patients. You will provide a responsive and comprehensive range of services to patients and their family members across all sites in SALHN (Noarlunga, FMC, and Repat Health Precinct), as well as in domiciliary settings. This role is actively involved in training and providing educational experiences, associated research, coordination and supervision of undergraduate students and postgraduate medical trainees.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- A Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent,
- An appropriate Specialist Qualifications and registrable with the Medical Board of Australia as a Medical Practitioner with Specialist registration (Geriatric Medicine); or another qualification as defined in the SA Medical Officers Award,
- Previous clinical experience and very high level of competence in the practice of Medicine,
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people including colleagues, students and other professional staff,
- A commitment to providing a quality service to patients and their families.
