- Indicative Total Remuneration: $359,094 - $608,425 (pro rata, Subject to Private Practice Arrangements) MDO2 | 18.75 hours p.w. from 1 January 2024 to 5 July 2024
- Possibility for extension at 7.5 hours p.w. till 31 December 2024

The Cardiology Department at Flinders Medical Centre is widely recognised for its commitment to high quality state-of-the-art evidence based practice linked to a strong academic program incorporating clinical trials and innovative interventions in clinical cardiology.

**About the Role**:
As a Cardiology Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in providing comprehensive cardiac care, with a specific focus on **heart failure** management. Key **responsibilities** include:

- Deliver comprehensive cardiac care services to patients, including inpatient ward work and outpatient clinics.
- Contribute to the education of both undergraduate and postgraduate medical professionals.
- Provide outreach services to regions in country South Australia and the Northern Territory, extending the reach of cardiac care to underserved areas.
- Engage in professional and community service activities, fostering positive relationships with the community and healthcare stakeholders.
