**About the role**:
The State Government recently announced one of its most ambitious level crossing removal projects yet - eight level crossing removals on the Upfield Line, between Park Street, Parkville and Albion Street, Brunswick will create substantial new open space, change how people move around, and reshape the heart of the Brunswick Design District.

This role will support the Level Crossing Removals team leading Council’s work to influence the delivery of this significant project, contributing to the coordination and integration of Council’s technical work, design work, community engagement and communications, and customer service approach.

**Skills and experience require to perform the role**:

- An appropriate tertiary qualification with some relevant experience or through lesser formal qualifications with substantial experience in providing dedicated project support to senior employees.
- Knowledge and understanding of the concepts and objectives of the Level Crossing Removal Projects (LXRP).
- Skills in managing own time, setting priorities, planning and organising one’s own work.
- Ability to work autonomously or as part of a team and work with mínimal supervision using appropriate initiative to achieve objectives.
- Ability to gain co-operation, assistance and communicate effectively with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
- Skills in written communication - for report writing, preparation of internal and external correspondence and for administration needs
