About the role:

The position is responsible for supporting the Transport Unit manage customer service requests (CRS) related to transport engineering and traffic in the municipality and providing recommendations to the Team Leader Transport Engineering by providing:

  • Written and verbal responses to resolve CRSs
  • Data reporting and analysis on CRS performance within the Transport Unit and using this to inform commentary and recommendations to drive CRS performance improvement
  • Continuous improvement of the Transport Unit's CRS processes and improving the quality of CRSs received in the Unit

Skills and experience require to perform the role:

  • Experience in transport or related issues and practice in local government and other levels of government is desirable
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Demonstrated Project Management skills
  • Demonstrated customer service skills
  • Awareness of Traffic and Civil Engineering principles.
  • Awareness of business analytical and data reporting principles
  • A current Victorian Drivers Licence
