About the role:

The Community Venues team currently manage 18 venues for hire across Meri-bek.

Reporting to Team Leader Community Venues, this role assists with the administration of venues for hire in accordance with Council's policies and service level agreements.

As well as assist with basic financial processes including invoicing, purchase orders and refunds.


With a focus on quality customer service, community and relationship-building, the Community Venues Administration Support Officer ensures expected levels of service and presentation are achieved as well as assisting with the bookings of Council managed venues for hire.


Skills and experience require to perform the role:

  • Experience in customer service.
  • Good literacy and numeracy skills.
