Are you a self-motivated and driven individual who loves supporting students and delivering excellent customer service? If so, Salford College wants you We are looking for a Student Support Officer to join our team and work remotely from Sydney.

As our Student Support Officer, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive support to our diverse student community by responding to inquiries and providing guidance on academic, personal, and other issues. You will have a high sense of initiative and creativity, be willing to be trained, and have excellent communication skills in Portuguese, Spanish, and English.

**Responsibilities**:

- Providing comprehensive support to our diverse student community by responding to inquiries and providing guidance on academic, personal, and other issues.
- Developing and implementing programs and initiatives to enhance the academic and personal success of our students.
- Collaborating with faculty and staff to identify and address the needs of students, and to ensure a positive learning experience for all.
- Supporting students in navigating academic challenges, including course selection, registration, and academic planning.
- Assisting students in identifying and accessing resources on campus, such as tutoring, counseling, and academic support services.
- Monitoring student progress and providing feedback to faculty and staff as needed.
- Facilitating communication between students, faculty, and staff to ensure a smooth and successful educational experience.
- Maintaining accurate records of student interactions and ensuring confidentiality of student information.
- Participating in training and professional development activities to stay up-to-date on best practices in student support.
- Contributing to the overall mission of Salford College by promoting a positive and supportive learning environment for all students.

As the Student Support Officer, you will also have a key role in promoting Salford College and attracting prospective students.
- Creating and implementing marketing strategies that promote the benefits of studying at Salford College and the support services available to students.
- Developing and managing social media campaigns to engage with current and potential students.
- Assisting with the organisation of student recruitment events, such as open days and campus tours.
- Collaborating with the marketing team to develop marketing materials that highlight the student support services offered by Salford College.
- Collecting and analysing data on student feedback to continuously improve the student support services offered.
- Building and maintaining positive relationships with current students, alumni, and the wider community to promote Salford College as a supportive and inclusive institution.

**Requirements**:

- Fluency in Portuguese, Spanish, and English.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to understand and solve problems quickly.
- High sense of initiative and creativity.
- Willingness to learn and be trained.
- Comfortable working remotely and using technology.
- Prior experience in student support is preferred but not required.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 24 per week

**Salary**: From $25.00 per hour
