**Student Support Officer**

Pegasus Edusolutions HR consultancy is recruiting for its client which is an reputed group of Colleges with presence across USA, France, Middle-East, Canada and Australia. The group is starting a new college / RTO for international students from across 20 nationalities in Sydney with VET & ELICOS courses and are looking for a student support officer for this RTO which will have its campus in the heart of the city. The focus of this role is to provide support to students and staff in both administration duties, and student support-related tasks.

**Key responsibilities include but are not limited to the following**:

- Enrolment/admission process, review students’ progress data and identify, analyse, remediate and report on any issues impeding effective student progression and outcomes.
- Create and maintain student files in accordance with ASQA Compliance Guidelines.
- Auditing student files with 100% accuracy at completion and cancellation.
- Maintain all registers to ensure records of clients program, course delivery, and course progression are all accurately and professionally documented.
- Maintain the student records and course delivery database utilising Axcelerate including understanding of the international student market (the ESOS Act, ESOS Framework, PRISMS and CRICOS) and the Australian VET system.
- Student interface and communication - Interact with students for solving their concerns. Following up for due fees and roll out relevant letters to the students.
- Managing and mentoring a team of offshore support officers
- Work closely with the management to maintain RTO and CRICOS Compliance requirements and assisting with various administrative tasks
- Resolve administrative problems and issues that may arise from time to time
- Liaison and communication with staff when required.

- Covering the front of the office, Answering incoming calls, Incoming and Outgoing Mails.

**To be successful in this role, applicants must meet the following criteria**:

- Be highly organised and have strong attention to detail.
- Be able to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Have strong written and oral communication skills.
- Have Excel database knowledge.
- Previous administration experience in a RTO and CRICOS that delivers to the domestic and international market.
- Demonstrated experience using student management systems such as Axcelerate.
- Understanding of the administrative requirements outlined in the standards for Registered Training Organisations.
- Quality compliance orientated.
- Expertise in time management and prioritising tasks.
- Be able to work across different computer systems.
