With the current growth of our community and the need to strategically manage our $3.5b worth of infrastructure assets, the City of Whittlesea has made the decision to strengthen Council’s Asset Management Team through the development of a number of new and exciting roles. Over the next few weeks, we will advertise four diverse opportunities to join the Asset Management Team, to lead, to manage, and to strategically plan for the future of all infrastructure assets within the City of Whittlesea.

**The Role**
Make a difference in our community

The Coordinator Strategic Asset Management is accountable for leading and managing a small team in the strategic asset planning, procurement, maintenance, condition assessment, renewal and disposal of Council infrastructure data.

The position will assist the Unit Manager Asset Management in developing Asset Management Plans across Transport, Open Space, Stormwater, Building and Portable/Attractive asset groups, preparation of internal and external reports to enable informed and efficient decisions around the management of Council Assets and review processes and procedures to drive efficiencies and improve service delivery outcomes in relation to strategic asset management activities.

**About you**
The Coordinator Strategic Asset Management will demonstrate good knowledge of strategic asset management principles, be able to manage and liaise with internal stakeholders/external contractors for effective project delivery and also be determined to drive change through the implementation of innovative asset management solutions.
