**The Role**
Help shape our community assets to be vibrant, thriving places.

This role provides a unique opportunity to work across multiple community infrastructure portfolios and plan for community, sport and recreation infrastructure.

This role provides short and long term strategic advice and infrastructure solutions to support our growing community and is directly involved in the planning and development of sporting reserves, libraries, community centres, halls and kindergartens.

It also plays a pivotal role in positively influencing Council policy and infrastructure delivery priorities and works closely with service owners, project development teams, and external partners to ensure Council’s facilities are planned meet community needs.

**About you**
You are passionate about how community, early years and sport and recreation infrastructure can contribute to vibrant, strong communities.

You work collaboratively, can build strength based partnerships and can explain complex matters to a diverse range of audiences.

You are experienced in providing evidence-based advice on community, early years and/or sporting infrastructure needs and have:

- A tertiary qualification in Social Planning, Urban Planning, Sport/leisure planning, Project Management, or a relevant discipline.
- A high attention to detail and can prepare concise and clearly written documents and reports.
- The ability to think strategically and identify a range of options and solutions to complex issues.
