- Salary Band: $108,351 - $122,046 per annum (plus 17% superannuation)
**About the Role**
Reporting to the General Manager, the Executive Officer provides high level executive and project management services to the Academic Unit executive team, including strategic advice, managing communications and projects and implementing strategies to support the achievement of the Academic Unit’s strategic and operational objectives.
As a key professional staff member supporting the Academic Unit executive team you will work closely with the Executive Dean, Deans of Programs, Dean of Research, and General Manager to ensure the effective management of the Academic Unit and make a proactive contribution to the Unit’s delivery of world class teaching, research and education services.
**About Allied Health and Human Performance**
The UniSA Allied Health and Human Performance Academic Unit offers a wide range of degrees and conducts research in the fields of physiotherapy, occupational therapy, podiatry, medical radiation sciences, medical sonography, speech pathology, clinical exercise physiology, exercise and nutrition, health sciences, public health, exercise and sport science, and human movement.
Our degrees meet the evolving needs of the health industry, with our graduates actively contributing to the future health workforce in areas such as medical imaging, rehabilitation and wellness, disability, health promotion, chronic disease, pain management, wellbeing and high-performance sport.

UniSA Allied Health and Human Performance is home to the Alliance for Research in Exercise, Nutrition and Activity (ARENA), a recognised research centre which investigates the role of exercise, nutrition and other lifestyle activities in improving clinical and health outcome and Innovation, Implementation & Clinical Translation in Health (IIMPACT), a research concentration, which focuses on persistent pain and breathlessness, rural health and stroke recovery.
**Essential Skills and Experience**
- Tertiary qualifications or equivalent demonstrable knowledge, skills and experience in a complex service-oriented organisation
- Highly developed writing and editing skills developed across a range of media including reports, speeches and presentations for a wide range of audiences
- Proven analytical and research skills to enable the effective synthesis of relevant information and data and the provision of insightful and innovative advice
- Demonstrated experience successfully leading and managing projects through to completion, on time and on budget
- Experience in building high performing and resilient teams supported by constructive supervision and performance development and role modelling a culture of service excellence
