As Toll continues its transformation journey, we have a newly created opportunity for a motivated and experienced Data Lead to join our Workforce Management Team.
As Data Lead, you will play a key role in leading data delivery and management practices for Workforce Management projects and initiatives across the Toll Group nationally and provide leadership in logical data modelling across the business.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead Workforce Management data insights across key initiatives.
- Establishing and maintaining logical data model standards, best practices, and guidelines for consistency.
- Be the driving force to collect, securely store, transform, manage and prepare source data.
- Design and maintain data architecture, governance and frameworks across HR Workforce projects.
- Ability to show case insights for leaders that assist with business outcomes.
- Overseeing the definition of data structures, E2E data flow, and pattern mapping.
- Collaborating with delivery teams to capture data requirements and build logical data models.
- Collaborate with team and engage stakeholders to understand and define data needs.
- Analyse data, business rules and root cause of issues raised, lead options to resolve and work with team to fix at pace.
- Support specific projects relating to Workforce Management.
To ensure your success you will possess:
- Strong data modelling, data architecture, and analytical skills.
- Experience in Technical Leadership, capability development and Solution Design.
- Experience in large-scale and complex data sets including both structured and unstructured data.
- Proficiency with data modelling tools with expertise in SQL, managing multiple databases, extracts, data transformation and code management and Power BI and advanced Excel skills.
- Ability to define and develop dimensional data models and schemas.
- Experience in defining data integration patterns and pipelines.
- Sound stakeholder engagement, communication and influencing skills, across a variety of senior leaders and external partners.
- Demonstrate the highest level of confidentiality and integrity, due to access of highly sensitive personnel and business data / information.
- Tertiary qualified with degree in Information Technology or Engineering or related discipline or industry experience.
