**Build your career at Iress**

This role is a six-month fixed-term contract to cover a period of parental leave.

The core focus of this role will be to provide HR administration support to the People Team, People Leaders and individuals across Iress in Australia, Singapore and New Zealand. The role plays an integral part in the delivery of an efficient and customer-focused people support service.

A typical day is managing queries via our Jira Service Desk, providing first-class customer service at all touchpoints. You will be responsible for processing people changes across the full employee lifecycle via Workday, maintaining a high level of data accuracy at all times. You will also have an active role in onboarding individuals to the organisation, ensuring that all relevant checks and documentation are completed before their first day, and supporting any questions they may have.

This role is office-based, at least three days per week. In Melbourne, you will be working alongside other People Team members across Service Delivery, Talent Acquisition and Business Partners, and the global Payroll team are also based here.

**Some of the awesome things you'll be involved with**:

- Providing administrative support to activities across the employee lifecycle (eg. new starters, parental leave, people movements and offboarding), ensuring the accuracy of all people data, correspondence and HR files which will involve processing changes in Workday (our People system), producing the relevant paperwork and informing other stakeholders of any changes where required.
- Provide accurate payroll input in line with payroll deadlines, including ensuring that new starters have completed all of their onboarding paperwork and Workday tasks.
- Support the employee onboarding processes including organising the local induction sessions.
- Accurately responding to queries from our people within the agreed timescales in Jira Service Desk, and keeping customers informed of the status of their query where a resolution at first response is not possible.
- Run reports from Workday as required to support the needs of the business.
- Complete regular data audits to ensure high accuracy within Workday at all times.
- Responsible for ensuring that process guides and trackers up to date to ensure all tasks are completed.
- Updating people policies and pages on the Iress intranet as requested.
- Develop effective working relationships with others within the wider People function including Business Partnering, Service Design, Organisational Development, Reward and Talent Acquisition to support them in meeting the needs of the business.
- Where required to meet the needs of the business, provide administrative support to the global people function.

**What you will bring**:

- Be keen to be visible, build relationships and be happy to work with people in an office environment.
- Provide first-class customer service both written and verbal at all touchpoints. A people-centric service is important to us, as we expect our people to have a customer-centric approach when interacting with Iress' clients.
- A willingness to learn local employment legislation and how it is applied to the different scenarios faced within our business.
- Willing to get stuck into a spectrum of activities to support the delivery of our people service and strategy.
- A high level of accuracy and attention to detail is vital for this role.
- A resilient and agile approach to working. Things can change quickly here and we need someone who can adapt to changing priorities.
- Meticulous and highly organised, with the ability to prioritise effectively.

Iress is committed to fostering a welcoming and inclusive culture. We strongly believe that diversity is what makes our teams and our products succeed. Our people have different experiences, skills, perspectives and beliefs and everyone's uniqueness is valued and celebrated.

**Our hiring decisions are never based on sexual orientation, race, gender identity, religion, disability, citizenship, marital or family status and age. Even if you feel you don't meet all of the requirements of the role, we would still like to hear from you**
