Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Operations Specialist to join our team at DCOH. This role is responsible for processing high volume end-to-end payroll for employees across different industries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Payroll Processing
    • Complete payroll checks related to timesheets, leave entitlements, over time, Time in Lieu, and other related matters.
    • Assist team members with enquiries such as back pay request, attendance updates, and bonus.
    • Co-ordinate checks with People and Culture team for contracts of new team members, promotions, changes in terms of employment and terminations.
    • Complete payroll disbursements for Weekly, Fortnightly, & Monthly payroll.
  • Monthly Tasks
    • Calculate and report Payroll Tax as required by applicable regulations.
    • Review and reconcile payroll-related General Ledger accounts including making the necessary adjustments.
    • Undertake monthly/quarterly payment summary reconciliation.
    • Conduct superannuation payments in accordance with legal requirements.
  • Annual / EOFY Reporting & Audit
    • Prepare and submit reports for the Workplace Gender Equality Agency (WGEA) and Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS).
    • Execute end-of-financial-year (EOFY) payroll reconciliation procedures.
