**The Role**

We are looking for **Ward Support Assistants** to join our team in providing the best of non-clinical support to the staff and patients and play a pivotal role in maintaining the clinical environment at the Alfred Hospital. This role will be required to work AM, PM or Night shifts as requested as we work in a dynamic service environment, and the flexibility to meet the changing needs of our client is essential. Full time or Part time roles are on offer.

**Your tasks may include but not be limited to**:

- Care and Maintenance of the clinical environment
- Re-stocking clinical supplies
- Discharge and General Cleaning
- Patient Re-positioning
- Pathology and general courier tasks

**You should be able to demonstrate**:

- Excellent and effective communication skills in written and spoken English
- Diligence and attention to detail
- 1 or more years’ experience working in a clinical environment desirable
- Excellent Customer Service skills
- An understanding of clinical confidentiality
- Successful applicants **must** hold **HSA Cert III**
