**What this role will bring to City of Melbourne**

Join our dynamic team at the Recreation and Waterways Branch As part of this vibrant community, you'll play a key role in managing and maintaining Docklands' waterways, community facilities, and aquatic/recreation sites like Riverslide Skate Park and the Docklands Hub.

As a key player in our team, you'll take the lead in managing the day-to-day operations of our marinas, contributing to the overall success of our iconic waterways. Collaborate closely with the Operations Coordinator to deliver top-notch services and maintain assets, ensuring that all maintenance, programmed inspections, and vessel berthing tasks are executed seamlessly.

**What you will bring to City of Melbourne**
- Strong customer service skills with an outgoing and energetic personality so as to enhance the customer’s recreational boating experience
- Proven ability with software packages including booking systems, Microsoft Office and financial management and experience in administration
- Well-developed interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate with people at all levels
- Marina and/or boat handling experience and general knowledge and skills for marina maintenance
- Ability to swim, CPR and basic first aid trained (or willingness to become trained)
- Proven ability to work in a team environment

Please note that the **Waterways Operations Officer** will work across a **7-day roster**, and **must** be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
