About the Role

Reporting to Area Manager Maribyrnong, this is a pivotal role within the Waterways & Catchment Services North West team. Within this part time role you will be responsible for facilitating the delivery of Melbourne Water’s waterway and catchment obligations, programs and services in the defined geographical area. This will be achieved through:

Planning and initiation of capital projects and proactive maintenance Management of complex internal and external customer service requests Provision of day-to-day and strategic customer relationship interface within the engaged communities, direct service customers, local governments and other relevant agencies and stakeholders

About you:

Demonstrated project and contract management skills and the ability to supervise consultants. Analytical and problem solving skills, including the ability to determine and adapt management approaches for a broad range of waterway, catchment, drainage and land management situations. Experience in waterway, catchment, drainage and land asset management, natural resource management, waterway planning and rehabilitation practices, and statutory planning processes. A proactive, solutions-focused, continuous improvement mindset and demonstrated resilience.
