The role

Reporting to the Snr Manager Strategy and Operations, this role is responsible for leading and managing the Accommodation Vacancy Management (AVM) Team to fill client vacancies in our SIL services; managing and supporting Accommodation Vacancy Coordinators to induct and onboard new SIL clients to CPA Accommodation services.
- Key Duties will include_:

- Provide strategies advice and guidance and operational day to day management support to the AVM team
- Develop on the set KPI’s for the AVM team and ensure quarterly client placement targets are being met
- Lead and coordinate a small team Accommodation Vacancy Coordinators who are responsible for driving the processes to facilitate new SIL clients into CPA Accommodation vacancies
- Oversee the pipeline of new SIL clients being managed and supported by the AVM team to forecast placement in the vacancies
- Ensure all marketable vacancies are advertised via CPA’s marketing team
- Oversee and support the AVM team to work within timeframes for processing new SIL clients and prospective clients; reporting on progress
- Establish strong working relationship with Regional Manager of Accommodation Services to ensure that new client placement have been reviewed and assessed comprehensively and within the Accommodation vacancy policies and procedures
- Establish and manage external partnerships to promote CPA SIL vacancies
- Proactively identify opportunities for internal clients to benefits from placement that can improve the quality of their lives through close liaison with Accommodation Operations team
- Proactively identify emerging risks and challenges in achieving set KPI’s for client vacancies and responding effectively and in a timely manner
- Maintain relevant policies and procedures and consult with relevant internal stakeholders as required
- Maintain contemporary knowledge of the NDIS funding frame for SIL clients; and processes that SIL NDIS participants have to adhere to

Experience you will bring
- 10+ years’ experience in the disability sector/ community services.
- Demonstrated experience in supporting people with disability in SIL or Community services
- Exceptional leadership, communication skills, writing skills, interpersonal skills, maturity, and an ethical mindset
- Experience in the disability sector and operational knowledge of supporting people with
- Relevant qualifications in Community Services /Disability Services or equivalent fields
- Experience in the disability sector and operational knowledge of supporting people with disability (desirable)

- Working with Children Check (WWCC)

- NSW Driving License (as travel between sites may be required)
