We are seeking an
**Executive Assistant to the Principal** to assist the College Principal and School Executive Leadership Team with a wide variety of administrative skills.
Under the direction of the Principal, you will coordinate administration activities and provide support to ensure the school delivers on key deadlines.

**About the role**:

- Provide administrative support to the principal where discretion and judgement are highly regarded.
- Maintaining college and principal electronic diaries.
- Design and production of College resources. Completing and standardising college documentation.
- Meeting & Hosting visitors on behalf of leadership team to the college.
- Managing recruitment, advertising and preparation of contracts for new staff.
- Minutes of college board, leadership and committee meetings.
- Co-ordinate and organisation of staff retreat programs with various college shareholders.
- Public relations - arranging gifts, flowers and messages for college guests and occasions.
- Collaborate with College Communications Secretary and other relevant external sources for major college events and activities by function planning, catering, administration of booking RSVP systems and designing/producing promotional materials when necessary.
- Coordinate travel arrangements for senior leadership team.
- Maintain confidential staffing records.
- Coordinate College recruitment processes with principal.

**About you**:

- Ideally, you will have previous experience in a similar role as above.
- You will demonstrate initiative, attention to detail and be a skillful negotiator who is able to liaise with the schools staff, students and families.
- You will be highly organised and be able to demonstrate sound judgement, confidentiality and discretion.
- Advanced experience with Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel and associated BCE systems (eMinerva, eRecruit, Team, One Note) is desirable.
- This role is key to the smooth operation of a busy office and requires exceptional professionalism.

To be eligible to be considered for this role you will:

- hold a Paid Employee Positive Notice Blue Card prior to commencement;
- be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment; and
- have a commitment to and understanding of the ethos and traditions of Catholic Education.

**Weeks worked**:School term weeks only (holidays unpaid)

**Tenure duration **(where Fixed Term)**:5 Months - August to December 2023

**Total Paid Hours (per week) & days required**:5 days/week (38 Hours/week). Additional hours for Board Meetings and College Functions as required.

**Salary level, range or hourly rate**:School Officer Level 5 - $35.74 per hour plus Superannuation.
