**About the role**
- We are seeking a
**Finance Officer / Administration Secretary** to assist the with a wide variety of financial and administrative tasks.
Under the direction of the Business Manager, you will assist with financial administration activities and provide support to ensure the school delivers on key reporting deadlines.
- Typical duties performed include (but not limited to):_
- answering finance enquiries
- management of payments to college providers
- reconciliation of accounts
- cashier and banking duties
- accounts payable invoice processing and payments
- data entry
- report preparation
- raise and reconcile miscellaneous invoices
- assisting the Business Manager with end of month and end of year reconciliations and procedures
- office duties assigned as appropriate by the Business Manager, and Principal.
- Enrolment data entry and administration of enrolments via eMinerva and College processes
- About you:_
- Previous experience in an accounts or finance role
- Demonstrate initiative, attention to detail, with a task orientated mindset.
- Highly organised and be able to demonstrate sound judgement, confidentiality and discretion.
- experience with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- BCE Finance system D365 is desirable however, s_
- pecialist training in finance software will be provided if required._

To be eligible to be considered for this role you will:

- hold a Paid Employee Positive Notice Blue Card prior to commencement;
- be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment; and
- have a commitment to and understanding of the ethos and traditions of Catholic Education.

**Estimated start date**:Commencing July 2023

**Position tenure**:Fixed Term

**Weeks worked**:Including schools holidays

**Tenure duration **(where Fixed Term)**:3 months to 13/10/2023

**Total Paid Hours (per week) & days required**:5 days/week (38 Hours/week). Monday-Friday

**Salary level, range or hourly rate**:School Officer Level 4 - $33.52 per hour plus up to 12.75% Superannuation.
