**Business Development Representative**

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Representative to join our team, preferably with some business experience in any of the following industries, Food and beverage, construction & building or education.

The role is essential to our business growth, focussed on identifying and nurturing potential clients for ezyCollect.

You will be working closely with our business co-founders, and given coaching, sales training and tools to succeed. The business acumen and sales skills you will develop in this role will set you up for success.

**The Role**
- Identify and target potential clients and champions/decision-makers
- Conduct extensive research to develop a deep understanding of prospects, including their business challenges and how ezyCollect’s solutions can address them.
- Qualify leads by assessing their potential for conversion into sales opportunities.
- Schedule discovery calls or meetings between qualified leads and our sales team.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all prospect interactions and lead qualification activities in our CRM system.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to refine outreach strategies based on market trends and response analysis.
- Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly targets for lead generation and qualification.
- Attend training sessions to stay updated with product developments, sales techniques, and industry trends.
- Actively participate in brainstorming sessions with founders, marketing and product teams to drive process innovation, drawing from industry best practices and fostering a creative environment.

**The Role Requirements**
- 1-2 years of experience in business development or sales, preferably in building supplies, food and beverage or education.
- Proven track record of successful lead generation.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to engage and persuade prospects.
- A goal-oriented, proactive and driven nature
- Proficiency in using CRM software
- Loves technology, business, entrepreneurship or sales.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- A strong desire to learn and grow within the fintech industry.
- Preferably with some business experience (including university degree, setting up their own business, working in a small or medium-sized business)
- Hybrid (min. 3 days in office) work set up
