**The Opportunity**:
Working with our Allied Health therapy team you will use a therapeutic approach used to help individuals with developmental disorders improve various behaviours, skills, and quality of life. You will;
- Support families to implement supportive strategies into their everyday lives
- Coaching and support for families, group programs and individual therapy, linking families with community supports, as well as supporting families and therapists with administrative tasks
- Work closely with key stakeholders and ensure ongoing communication, leadership and support are provided to deliver quality services and supports
- Ensure a focus on continuous improvement through regular evaluation, training and review
- Work as part of a multidisciplinary team
**What do you need to join?**
- Passion for making a difference in the lives of children and their families
- No qualification is required, however experience with children and families with additional needs (including lived experience), is essential.
- **Working towards a relevant Allied Health qualification - will suit 3rd or 4th year students.**:
- Knowledge of the NDIS is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team and ability to work autonomously in the community once you are developed in the role.
- Compliance - Working with Children Check, National Police Check, NDIS workers screening check, Covid-19 Vaccination Certificate and First Aid certificate.
