Who are we looking for?
A passionate and dedicated Developmental Educator/ Early Childhood Teacher to join AnglicareSA's Autism-Specific Early Learning and Care Centre (ASELCC) to contribute to high quality group-based intervention for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). In this highly rewarding role, you will work alongside allied health professionals and early childhood educators in a vibrant and creative environment.
What can you expect to be doing?
Develop, deliver and evaluate the preschool curriculum within the National Quality Framework, including individual education plans that address the unique needs of the child. Work collaboratively with families and provide strategies and support for children and families to work towards their NDIS goals. Support the development, implementation and review of positive behaviour support plans for children with autism. Be actively involved in the mentoring of staff and students to ensure the highest levels of service delivery and program development.
What do you need to bring?
Bachelor’s degree in Disability and Developmental Education and full registration with the DEAI. Experience providing therapeutic services to children, young people and adults across a variety of settings. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively both in a team environment and autonomously. Solid organisational and time management skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines. Ability to build strong, positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
