**Short Summary**
This innovation-lead, market leading supplier of tooling solutions and equipment are growing and looking for an ambitious sales leader to head up the field sales team on a national level. If you are a results driven, highly motivated sales manager with a background selling to the trade retail and independent space we would love to hear from you.
**The Company**
The business has been established for over 30 years and has built a great team and nationwide presence. They are seen as leaders in the quality and flexibility of their service along with the robustness and innovative nature of their products. From tool kits, sockets, hand tools, fasteners, and other construction equipment they have solutions to meet the needs of most customers. They sell heavily into to the independent trade market (ie. Mitre10, Supercheap Auto, Bursons, Total tools, Bowens etc).
**The Role**
This role is managing the sales team on a national level. Your role will be split into time spent on management and leadership duties while also getting in the trenches and doing hands-on selling with your team.
You will be tasked with the development and implementation of effective sales strategies, to build business plans for key accounts, develop and maintain weekly/monthly reports and KPI’s, coaching, and mentoring your team.
Given the nature of the role and the size of team you will also be expected to get your hands dirty and do some selling yourself. This will involve meeting some of your key customers face to face and attending trade roadshows and events. The company has ambitious growth plans so you also be involved the hiring of new reps once you get your feet under the desk.
