**About Abergeldie**
Abergeldie is a locally owned contractor with close to 30 years’ industry experience in Australia and New Zealand. We design and deliver projects in the Water, Bridges, Transport, Underground, Energy and Remediation industry sectors. Projects include dams, bridges, tunnels, water and wastewater treatment process facilities, rail infrastructure, mining infrastructure, electrical substations, marine works and pipeline rehabilitation: the complex infrastructure needed to build better communities.
**About the opportunity**
Abergeldie provides self-perform capability on our construction sites which means we have a large inventory of specialised plant and equipment. Our plant team oversees the allocation, maintenance and transportation of all plant and equipment between our sites.
As the Administration Assistant for our Plant team, you will provide general administrative support to the team including;
- Answering, screening and directing calls in a professional, friendly and efficient manner.
- Meeting and greeting visitors including inducting visitors and contractors to site.
- Undertaking a range of administrative duties including data entry, creating purchase orders, collating documentation, maintaining electronic files and records.
- Managing hire vehicle bookings.
- Handling all incoming and outgoing mail.
- Ensuring the office is kept clean and tidy.
- End of month reporting.
- Providing general administrative support to the team to ensure the smooth running of the office.
This is a permanent full-time role based in St Mary’s. Hours are 7.30 am to 3.30 pm Monday to Friday.
