**The Opportunity**:
We are seeking a versatile, experienced and forward-thinking Marketing Manager to drive our marketing efforts across Australia and New Zealand. In this important 12 month fixed term parental leave cover contract position, you will spearhead the development and execution of comprehensive marketing strategies that align with our business growth objectives and target key customer segments within the Waste, Energy, and Water industries.

Managing two supporting marketing team members, you will play a crucial role in localising our brand strategy, driving customer engagement, and propelling our business growth. This is an exceptional opportunity to further expand the range of your marketing expertise, strategic thinking, and leadership skills within a large and varied market-leader in environmental services.

**What you'll be responsible for**:

- Lead the overarching marketing strategy, setting specific goals, to engage with specific audiences, and grow Veolia’s brand awareness and preference in market.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive growth initiatives through customer events, targeted advertising, and lead generation campaigns, leveraging digital channels to maximise reach and impact.
- Promote our brand, products, and services to position Veolia as a market leader, capturing new market shares and strengthening our competitive edge.
- Localise and educate stakeholders on our Group Value Proposition and key differentiators, ensuring consistent messaging and brand positioning across all touchpoints.
- Analyse marketing metrics and insights to forecast market trends and identify opportunities for optimization.
- Be a member of the global marketing community to share best practices with other zones around the Globe

**What you'll need to be successful**:

- Degree or Postgraduate Degree in Marketing or related business discipline
- 5+ years experience in a strategic marketing role in B2B or B2C environments (B2B highly desirable)
- Demonstrated experience in customer acquisition and retention strategies and familiarity with B2B marketing channels including Google Adwords, EDM and socials.
- Experience in event, partnership and sponsoring is required
