**Vawdrey Axton Turner** have built a TEAM of PROFESSIONALS to provide Accounting, Financial Planning, Taxation Management and Business Advice PROACTIVELY to take their clients (small to medium businesses) to the next level.
You will be joining a firm lead by 3 highly experienced partners who are all committed and dedicated to their clients’ ongoing success along with an exceptional team of Accountants and support staff. This is a busy yet friendly environment and the firm practices a flat structure.as well as being Progressive, Cloud Based and Paperless.
**About the Role**:
This is an opportunity for an experienced and dedicated **Professional Bookkeeper** with demonstrated broad bookkeeping skills to join their team.
You will provide support to the Accountants across a range of clients (Company, Trust and High Net Worth Individual) to meet individual client requirements. The role is responsible for the full range of Bookkeeping functions - accounts payable & receivable, payroll (payment summaries, leave entitlement calculations, superannuation), reconciliations, reporting and BAS.
Whilst your technical skills and knowledge are important, it is your positive, dedicated, forward thinking and whole of business focus that are critical. Your enthusiasm, desire to produce efficient and quality outcomes, and ability to liaise effectively with clients will ensure your fit within the existing business.
**Your skills and experience**:
- Hold a Certificate IV in Bookkeeping is HIGHLY DESIRABLE (someone currently studying may also be considered).
- Minimum 3 years demonstrated experience with proven capability in accounts payable & receivable, payroll (payment summaries, leave entitlement calculations, superannuation), reconciliations, reporting and BAS.
- Experience with Xero is ESSENTIAL.
- Demonstrated experience working within an accounting practice is HIGHLY DESIRABLE.
- Proven time management skills with a highly organised approach.
- Exceptional customer service focus with outstanding presentation, interpersonal skills and relationship-building skills.
- Commercially savvy self-starter who is able to achieve a high level of efficiency and accuracy.
- Professional and mature attitude with a flexible approach.
- Passion, drive and enthusiasm for delivering exceptional service.
