In response to some exciting growth in Victoria, they have a temporary to permanent role available for an experienced Senior Logistics Coordinator to join their team at their North Melbourne location.

Your new role

As a senior Logistics professional in this business, you will:

- Work to prioritise and improve a great team culture encompassing safety, wellbeing, compliance, and the overall supply chain direction.
- Actively work with 3PL partners and their operations to identify areas to increase process improvement and long-term collaboration. Whilst ensuring commercial and operational agreements are in place and are being met.
- Roll out agreed actions to assist with continued engagements with key stakeholders, especially the state sales team.
- Work across SBUs to provide insights on reporting, business updates and performance visibility.
- Proactively investigate to understand marketplace and industry trends relevant to this role.

What you’ll need to succeed To be successful in this role, you’ll need:

- Knowledge and experience in SAP, WMS and planning in an operations environment.
- Experience and exposure to road, rail and sea freight networks and operations.
- Understanding of distribution and warehouse principles.
- Proven experience in the Logistics industry pertaining to warehousing, Transport operations and 3PL liaison.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Strong experience in LEAN, Six Sigma, and operational excellence
