Join a global manufacturing business operating in the construction space as their Logistics Supervisor, joining the team in Western Sydney on a permanent basis.

**Your new role**

In your new role as Logistics Coordinator, your key responsibilities will include:

- Working with the warehouse team to maintain safe operations, assisting in scheduling the daily workload for yard personnel and supporting on the floor as required.
- Coordinating with third-party transport and freight providers, booking and tracking freight to meet customer requirements and liaising with customs brokers to schedule container deliveries.
- Supporting management in driving a culture of continuous improvement across the logistics function, seeking operational improvements, and troubleshooting issues as they arise.
- Ensure all administrative documentation is accurate, maintaining inventory accuracy within the system, and assisting the sales team with customer enquiries, quotes, and orders.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Previous experience in a similar role, with demonstrated experience in logistics, warehouse management, inventory control practises, freight forwarding and transport coordination.
- Current forklift license and recent operational experience are a must, with qualifications in a relevant area of study highly regarded.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, comfortable in interacting with customers, internal stakeholders, and third-party providers directly.
- Strong IT skills across MS Office (especially Excel), demonstrated numerical proficiency, focus on OH&S, and a proven ability to work well in a team.
