**Future Student Engagement Officer (Identified) - Ongoing, Full Time**

Working hand-in-hand with the screen and broadcast industries, AFTRS is a global centre of excellence that delivers the highest level of screen and broadcast education, training and research across Australia.

Working collaboratively with the First Nations and Outreach division, this position implements student recruitment activities designed to increase diversity with a particular focus on building a strong First Nations student cohort, community outreach activity and schools marketing campaigns. This includes building and maintaining high-school career advisor relationships, booking and staffing career fairs and ensuring AFTRS is represented in a professional manner.

**About the role**:

- **As the Future Student Engagement Officer at AFTRS, you will**:_
- Identify and implement improvements to the recruitment process, increasing team productivity and enhancing the student experience.
- Work with the marketing team to develop lead-nurturing campaigns and targeted content to drive new interest and enrolment for courses and award programs.
- Work closely with the Short Courses and Marketing teams to identify UX improvements in the CRM and on the AFTRS website, to enhance customer experience and increase team productivity.
- Assist with and prepare relevant documentation for the Admissions Committee, working closely with faculty to ensure all information is accurate.
- Support the Head of Student Recruitment and Admissions in developing and implementing strategies to attract and support student recruitment activities, student exchange opportunities and international co-partner initiatives.
- Provide culturally informed and appropriate advice to all prospective students, in particular to prospective First Nations students.
- Create and maintain the student recruitment career fair calendar, to ensure AFTRS has a presence at key fairs around Australia.
- Build and manage relationships with schools, including digital media teachers and career advisors.
- Build custom reports in the CRM to report on short course and award course interest.

**About you - you have**:

- Experience in sales or student recruitment roles within education, training or screen and arts environments.
- Demonstrable knowledge of First Nations culture and protocols with the ability to build relationships with First Nations people, communities and organisations.
- Understanding of opportunities to nurture and build prospective student pathways with a focus on culturally and racially marginalised students.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and proven ability to work across functions.
- Excellent problem-solving capabilities with the ability think quickly in a fast-paced environment.
- Please note, the successful applicant will be required to undertake a Working with Children Check._

**Salary: AFTRS Level 5 ($73,394) + up to 15.4% super, and excellent benefits.**

**Salary**: $73,394.00 - $78,899.00 per year
