Our client, a prominent and rapidly growing insurance company, is seeking a dedicated and talented National Claims Portfolio Manager to oversee and enhance their Commercial Motor Claims department. This is a strategic role that will involve collaborating closely with the Senior Leadership Team to drive organisational success.

Responsibilities will include:

- Leadership: Provide visionary leadership to the Commercial Motor Claims team, fostering a positive and high-performance culture that aligns with the company's values and goals.
- Strategy Development: Collaborate with the Senior Leadership Team to develop and execute strategic plans for the Commercial Motor Claims division, ensuring effective and efficient claims handling.
- Performance Monitoring: Implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor claims processing metrics, analyse trends, and identify areas for improvement to enhance overall claims performance.
- Stakeholder Management: Engage with various internal and external stakeholders, including clients, brokers, and other departments, to maintain strong working relationships and ensure exceptional customer service.
- Compliance and Regulations: Work closely with the Quality Assurance Specialist on all audit findings
- Talent Development: Foster the professional growth and development of the claims team through coaching, training, and performance evaluations.
- Innovation: Drive continuous improvement initiatives and explore innovative technologies and methodologies to enhance claims processes and customer experience.

Qualifications and Experience:

- Insurance Diploma preferred
- Commercial Insurance Claims experience (minimum 10 years)
- Proven track record of successful leadership and management of claims teams, driving operational excellence and achieving business objectives.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Demonstrated strategic thinking and ability to contribute to overall company growth.
