Claims Portfolio Manager

We are seeking an experienced Claims Portfolio Manager to join our team in Sydney.
About the RoleThis is a key leadership position responsible for managing a portfolio of claims from inception to finalisation. The successful candidate will have expertise in strategic collaboration and case management, with a focus on maximising return to work and return to health outcomes for claimants.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain a focus on strategic collaboration and case management at all times to maximise return to work and return to health outcomes for claimants.
- Make key liability decisions.
- Build effective working relationships with various stakeholders, including injured claimants, family members, legal providers, and medical professionals.
- Assess claims for reasonable and necessary treatment and rehabilitation requirements.
- Manage injury needs of claimants, handle correspondence regarding Workers Compensation benefits, treatment and rehabilitation, and interpret medical reports.
- Demonstrated completion of structured training opportunities and submission of a portfolio of evidence.
- Experience in bodily injury claims processes and procedures in insurance, legal, medical, or complex customer services.
- Able to work collaboratively in a team environment, providing advice and guidance to other team members.
- Ability to interpret and analyse complex information, extract meaningful insights, and evaluate options for decision-making.
