Slalom is a global, human-centric business and technology consulting firm. We specialise in partnering with organisations that aspire to excellence, helping them tackle complex challenges and achieve transformative results through strategy, technology, and business transformation services. By prioritising people, Slalom creates a unique consulting experience, with a team of strategists and engineers delivering practical, end-to-end solutions that drive impactful outcomes for our clients. We empower people and organisations to dream bigger, move faster, and build better tomorrows for all.
About the Role
Our recruiting team is passionate about finding and hiring the very best talent across Australia and New Zealand. We pride ourselves on creating exceptional opportunities for candidates that align with their skills, ambitions, and values. At the same time, we play a critical role in shaping the future of Slalom, bringing in the people who will help us grow, innovate, and deliver outstanding results for our clients.
In particular, we are looking for someone to support our Salesforce and Transformation capability, ensuring we continue to build strong teams in these critical areas of our business.
This is an exciting time to be part of our journey. We're expanding our reach, strengthening our capabilities, and building a diverse, high-performing team. As part of our recruiting function, you'll be at the forefront of this growth, connecting with top talent, showcasing what makes Slalom unique, and contributing directly to our continued success in the region.
What You'll Do
- Own full-cycle recruitment across Salesforce, Transformation, and broader engineering capabilities, managing requisitions from intake through to close.
- Partner closely with hiring leaders and business stakeholders to deeply understand current and future hiring needs, and effectively manage those key relationships.
- Strategically source and engage top-tier talent, using a creative mix of channels and sourcing techniques.
- Drive recruitment efforts with a proactive approach: staying ahead of hiring needs and maintaining visibility across the different ecosystems you might recruit across.
- Champion diversity hiring and inclusive practices across all recruitment touch points.
- Develop and maintain strong talent pipelines, especially for hard-to-fill or niche roles.
- Represent Slalom at external events and within the tech, Salesforce, and Transformation communities to elevate our brand and attract talent.
- Actively contribute to internal engagement efforts, such as participating in or leading Slalom Communities and broader culture initiatives.
- Use data and insights to inform hiring decisions and report on key talent acquisition metrics.
- Collaborate with global and local TA peers on broader hiring initiatives.
What You'll Bring
- Proven experience in end-to-end recruiting, ideally in a fast-paced consulting or product environment.
- Demonstrated success hiring for Salesforce roles ( Developers, Architects, Consultants), Transformation roles (e.g., Change & Adoption, Programme Delivery, Business Analysis), as well as other tech skill sets.
- Strong ability to build trusted partnerships and effectively manage key stakeholders.
- A proactive and strategic approach to recruitment, with a genuine interest in the broader technology, Salesforce, and Transformation ecosystems.
- Passion for innovation in recruitment, whether through technology, process improvement, or enhancing candidate experience.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
- A commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion across all aspects of hiring.
- Proficiency with ATS platforms, sourcing tools, and recruitment analytics.
Our Values
Our culture and values reflect each individual Slalomer. We are dedicated to encouraging workplace diversity and ensuring all our people, from any background can contribute to their full potential. We wish to build a team that echoes the diversity of the communities we serve, and our values are an active part of our every-day, guiding our decisions.
What keeps us here?
When we moved to Australia in 2020, we had no idea just how important our work/life balance would need to be. We've asked our consultants what makes Slalom a great place to work and the most common answer, "the freedom to be ourselves when life gets in the way". We make a big effort to bring everyone together and allow space when space is needed. We believe in helping each other thrive in work and life and are proud to invest in benefits that include holistic wellbeing, meaningful allowances, and investment in our team's professional, technical, and personal growth.
