The Role
As Senior Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving new business growth, closing deals, and expanding our market presence across New South Wales. Your focus will be on developing strong customer relationships, identifying opportunities, and selling tailored EV charging solutions to commercial, government, and enterprise clients.
You'll take a hands-on, proactive approach to business development—engaging with key decision-makers, managing the full sales cycle, and ensuring customers receive the best solutions to meet their needs.
What are we looking for in our candidates?
- Proven experience in sales and business development, ideally in EV charging, energy, infrastructure, or technology sectors.
- Experience selling DC chargers or large-scale EV infrastructure solutions (highly desirable).
- A hunter mentality—driven to seek out and convert new business opportunities.
- Strong commercial acumen, with experience in structuring and closing high-value B2B deals.
- Excellent relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage and influence decision-makers.
- A data-driven approach, using insights to optimise sales strategies and improve pipeline conversion.
- Experience managing customer acquisition, retention, and account growth.
- Collaborative mindset, working with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery and ongoing customer satisfaction.
- A strong understanding of the EV and energy landscape, including market trends and policy shifts.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and secure new business opportunities, building a strong pipeline of potential customers.
- Manage the full sales cycle, from initial engagement and proposal development to deal closure.
- Achieve individual sales targets, contributing to JET Charge's continued growth in NSW.
- Engage directly with customers, understanding their needs and providing tailored EV charging solutions.
- Optimise the sales process, improving conversion rates and deal velocity.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key industry stakeholders, government agencies, fleet operators, and commercial property groups.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, leveraging insights to refine sales strategies and capitalise on emerging opportunities.
